Bed and Breakfast to Boutique Hotel! |

2009 flashed by so quickly that we are only just posting the news from last summer. The Sunday Times Travel Magazine printed a list of the 100 Best Boutique Hotels in Europe from Norway down to Portugal, charging under £ 100. They discovered one in Northern Ireland – Anna’s House!
“Boutique Hotel” is immediately associated with high expectations – which we always do our best to exceed at Anna’s House.
In July 2010, the glossy fashion magazine Red named Anna’s House to be one of Britain’s Best Kept Secrets. “We all love secrets. And sometimes the best ones are staring us right in the face. While most of us think of a holiday as jumping on a plane to admire foreign shores, some of the most beautiful places on this earth are right on our doorstep.”
We have been equally excited by the rise and rise of the restaurant on our doorstep, Balloo House. Danny Millar, its chef, has made Balloo House the most talked about and acclaimed place to eat in Northern Ireland. It is such a treat for us and our guests to have him so near. At the same time it is very good to note that our other two local restaurants, Daft Eddie’s and Lisbarnett House are enjoying a renaissance, so good food is now assured around us |
