I wonder what your New Year Resolution is – and good luck with its progress - and here is mine which I have been promising myself for a few months past and am finally resolved to carry out.
As you may read on the other pages of this website, we are committed to evolving to an ever more eco-friendly lifestyle. Our food is organic, our garden and meadows are organic, our bedrooms are painted with organic paints. But until now we have persisted in using all the well known detergents, which we know are actually harming the environment, to do our laundry and our cleaning.
NO MORE! We have acquired a state of the art Steam Cleaner which only uses tap water heated to 150deg.C to clean and sanitise kitchen, bathrooms, carpets and upholstery. And we believe you will be happy to know this: we now steam clean our mattresses on a regular basis. The machine is proven to kill 98% of dust mites and neutralises their allergens, so if you are asthmatic, please inform us and we will be happy to steam clean your room the day before your arrival.
O yes, from now on we shall use only ecological washing powder, lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda... it really feels good to escape from the temptations of all those persuasive television cleaning adverts at last.
