We at Anna’s House have had a lovely year, thanks to our delightful guests and the attention of the media. In March, The Guardian gave up a full half page of their Travel Section to describe what we do and a Japanese Lifestyle Magazine printed four pages of pictures of our house, garden, dogs (alas now chasing rabbits in heaven) and me baking scones.
We had a television crew here in the summer, filming us for a television series called “The Fabulous Food Adventure” which was screened in September. I haven’t seen the video yet but people are still stopping me in the street to say they saw the programme and then... compliments, jokes and leg pulls, depending on how well they know me!
