We were pleased to welcome journalists from a Japanese travel magazine, Mr. Partner, who came to stay with us late 2007. We really hope they enjoyed their stay and if you can read Japanese perhaps you can tell us what they said!
We celebrated Kenneth's eightieth birthday on the 13th April 2008. We organised a surprise party for him in the music room and invited all our friends and neighbours. He went to sing with the choir on Sunday morning at Down Cathedral with no idea of the detailed planning in place.
We are astonished, bewildered and delighted that so many independent tourist guides, newspapers and the television media have judged us to be one of the Best Places to Stay in Ireland.
